Leverageเลเวอเรจ (Leverage)

ENGLISH
Definition
Leverage lets a trader control a position larger than the cash deposited, using margin. At 1:100 leverage, a deposit of 1% of the position's value is required. Leverage scales profits and losses by the same factor, so a small adverse move can produce a large loss relative to the deposit.
Example (hypothetical)
A hypothetical position worth 10,000 at 1:100 leverage needs 100 of margin. A 1% adverse move loses 100 — the entire margin for that position.
