Fair value gap คือรูปแบบสามแท่งที่ไส้ของแท่งที่ 1 และแท่งที่ 3 ไม่ทับกัน เหลือช่วงราคาที่มีแค่แท่งกลางวิ่งผ่าน แบบ bullish คือราคาต่ำของแท่ง 3 อยู่เหนือราคาสูงของแท่ง 1 แบบ bearish คือราคาสูงของแท่ง 3 อยู่ใต้ราคาต่ำของแท่ง 1 ไม่ใช่ทุกช่องว่างที่ราคาจะกลับมาเติม
ตัวอย่าง (สมมติ)
แท่งสมมติ: แท่ง 1 ราคาสูง 45.0, แท่ง 2 เป็นแท่งขาขึ้นใหญ่, แท่ง 3 ราคาต่ำ 45.8 FVG ขาขึ้นอยู่ในช่วง 45.0–45.8 และจุดกึ่งกลาง 50% อยู่ที่ 45.4

Definition
A fair value gap is a three-candle pattern in which the wicks of candles 1 and 3 do not overlap, leaving a price range only the middle candle traded through. It is bullish when candle 3's low is above candle 1's high, and bearish when candle 3's high is below candle 1's low. Not every gap is revisited or filled.
Example (hypothetical)
Hypothetical candles: candle 1 high 45.0, candle 2 a large up candle, candle 3 low 45.8. The bullish FVG spans 45.0–45.8, and its 50% midpoint is 45.4.
