Engulfing คือรูปแบบสองแท่งที่ตัวแท่งที่สองคลุมตัวแท่งแรกทั้งหมดและมีสีตรงข้าม แบบ bullish engulfing เกิดหลังราคาลง ส่วนแบบ bearish engulfing เกิดหลังราคาขึ้น
ตัวอย่าง (สมมติ)

Definition
An engulfing pattern is a two-candle pattern in which the second candle's body completely covers the first candle's body and has the opposite colour. A bullish engulfing appears after a decline; a bearish engulfing appears after an advance.
Example (hypothetical)
After a hypothetical slide, a down candle has a body from 30.0 to 29.6; the next candle opens at 29.5 and closes at 30.2. The second body covers the first, forming a bullish engulfing for study.
